ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Advice the organisation structure and compliance framework.
• Perform KYC due diligence check on new client on boarding procedures to ensure compliance with all related legislations and regulations for business operation.
• Design workflow and monitor the quality of the client on boarding process and KYC data remediation project in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct trigger event and periodic due diligence review for existing clients in a timely manner.
• Establish and maintain documentation system to ensure all KYC documents and evidences are in good orders.
• Conduct transactions monitoring and AML investigations for suspicious transactions identified and liaise with external and internal parties for reporting and following-up the investigations.
• Provide recommendations and advice to the management on AML and Combating Terrorist Financing (CFT) issues.
• Create and regularly update the AML Policy and Procedures Manual to be in line with the licence and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure AML/CFT related information and publications are properly distributed and duly communicated to relevant staff and parties.
• Identify areas for on-going improvement in the AML process, documentation, data record, transactions monitoring and investigations.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in AML compliance and transaction monitoring is required
• Well versed in AMLO requirements and risk assessment
• Experience in credit card business or payment is preferable
• Self-motivated, proactive, independent and attentive to details
• Good communication and interpersonal skill as project leader and in-house trainer
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing
