My client, a global FMCG/ Retail giant is looking for an Accounting and Finance Manager. You will be based in Hong Kong, work alongside with the top management team in Asia Pacific and report to the Administration Director directly.

You are expected to perform the following duties,

• Support the Finance and Admin Director to manage the accounting, finance and controlling function of a holding in Hong Kong and its 2 subsidiaries in HK and CN
• in charge of management accounting to provide updated and detailed figures/reports for the company's HQ, CEO and COO (with the use of SAP )
• supervise financial accounting of 2 Hong Kong entities (Holding and 1 subsidiary)
• manage the HK entity's intercompany charges
• supervise 1-2 Accountants
• manage treasury function and relationship to banks
• work closely with colleagues in Europe, Australia and China

The ideal candidates should have fulfilled the requirements below,

• A degree holder of Accounting/Finance or related disciplines, with recognized professional accounting qualifications (ACCA / HKICPA / CPA qualification is required)
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in Accounting/Finance/ Audit with some PRC exposures, preferably in Consumer/Retail industry
• Solid Experience in management accounting, preferably with experience working in a dynamic ecommerce field and familiar with intercompany charges
• Familiar with the international work environment with colleagues from all over the world (China, Europe, Australia)
• Familiar with an entrepreneurial setup that requires practical adhoc decisions
• Strong ability to deal with detailed policies and be part of the development of new policies
• Independent, proactive, problem solver and good team player in a small niche team
• willing to travel on short notice mainly to China
• must be able to delegate job duties appropriately and have managerial skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin/Cantonese
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
