  • To be responsible for manning the Inspectorate Hotline
  • To receive phone calls from colleagues, public, government departments and other agencies, etc. and handle complaint cases
  • To record particulars of the callers and the phone calls accurately and promptly
  • To liaise with colleagues in response to the phone calls received and arrange for actions
  • To monitor and record results of actions taken by colleagues
  • To assist the unit in any other lawful duties including clerical and support duties as and when required
  • Night Shift (8:30pm to 8:30am)

 

Requirement

  • F. 5 or above with at least one year’s relevant experience
  • Have a good command of spoken English and Cantonese (Putongua language skills would be an advantage)
  • Good communication skill and excellent telephone manner
  • Able to deal with difficult callers
  • Friendly, outgoing, self initiative and able to work under pressure
  • Ready to work long hours and shift duties
  • Amenable to discipline
  • Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals
  • Immediate available preferred
