- To be responsible for manning the Inspectorate Hotline
- To receive phone calls from colleagues, public, government departments and other agencies, etc. and handle complaint cases
- To record particulars of the callers and the phone calls accurately and promptly
- To liaise with colleagues in response to the phone calls received and arrange for actions
- To monitor and record results of actions taken by colleagues
- To assist the unit in any other lawful duties including clerical and support duties as and when required
- Night Shift (8:30pm to 8:30am)
Requirement
- F. 5 or above with at least one year’s relevant experience
- Have a good command of spoken English and Cantonese (Putongua language skills would be an advantage)
- Good communication skill and excellent telephone manner
- Able to deal with difficult callers
- Friendly, outgoing, self initiative and able to work under pressure
- Ready to work long hours and shift duties
- Amenable to discipline
- Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals
- Immediate available preferred
