Responsibilities:

• Perform daily settlement operations of equities, futures, options and other derivatives in Hong Kong and global markets;
• Handle daily settlement operations including deal matching, daily trade transactions and CCASS/DCASS operations;
• Responsible for day-end procedures, daily stock reconciliation, daily financial settlement and deposit / withdrawal;
• Provide administrative and clerical support to department;
• Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in processing Securities and Futures settlement;
• Familiar with local and overseas settlement system / practices including ET Net, Ayers, CCASS, DCASS;
• Detail-minded, responsible and hard-working;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently and under pressure with high level of integrity;
• Shift duty and work on weekend and public holidays will be required if necessary;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Immediate available is highly preferred;
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Settlement Officer.
