Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the laundry plant to ensure sufficient linen and uniforms are provided to staff.
• Maximize manpower and machinery productivity by effective job allocation and cost control.
• Monitor the logistic support to ensure prompt collection and delivery of linen and uniforms.
• Work closely with Departmental Managers to provide regular communication related to service improvement and machine maintenance.
• Uphold the Hospital’s infection control policies and procedures.
• Maintain good hygiene and occupational health and safety standards.
• Monitor and review the stock and prepare regular reports.
• Control staff attendance and roster arrangement.
• Provide support, guidance and training to the laundry staff.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above;
• Holder of All Electrically Heated Boilers (including automatically controlled) and Steam Receivers Class III Certificate is preferable;
• 15 years relevant working experience with at least 5 years at managerial level;
• Strong leadership qualities and problem solving ability;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficient in MS office
