Job Description

Following continued success throughout APAC and as part of our growth plans for the region, SWIFT are looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Team Lead. The successful candidate will lead the APAC Talent Acquisition team and drive all recruitment activities throughout our fastest growing region.

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition & Attraction, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the APAC team (currently consisting of team members located in KL and Hong Kong but with responsibility for delivery across the entire APAC region). The role will appeal to someone who is looking for an opportunity to manage a team, work closely with the local business leaders, build strategies to suit the local market and at the same time continuing to play a hands on role with delivery responsibility.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the APAC Talent Acquisition (TA) team to deliver and working in close collaboration with the business in order to understand their objectives and build a relationship as trusted advisor.
  • Be responsible for leading and motivating the APAC TA team and support their professional and personal development.
  • Act as a full life cycle, hands-on recruiter, managing a diverse requisition load, with emphasis on more senior roles.
  • Apply the creative use of social, professional, and internet networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Work in close collaboration with the local HR business partners and HR services team as well as support the Global Head of Talent Acquisition.
  • Manage workload planning across the team in order to provide a consistent and professional internal talent service.
  • Manage local relationships with vendors and third party suppliers.
  • Ensure regional MI and Reporting is accurate and in accordance with the global TA strategy.
  • Initiate and lead projects locally and lead and contribute to global projects.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience of delivering a high quality talent acquisition service, preferably with experience in the IT sector.
  • Proven team leader experience with a collaborative approach and the ability to engage and inspire people at all levels.
  • Significant experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, and an ability to manage senior level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience of selecting and managing suppliers.
  • Strong market knowledge of a variety of APAC countries advantageous (exeperience and knowledge of recruitment markets in Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and India would be particularly beneficial).
  • Strong influencing and decision making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, respond quickly to issues and effectively manage a variety of competing activities and priorities.
  • Excellent English language skills – verbal and written. Fluency in one or more Asian languages a plus.
