Position Description:

The role exists within the Prime Services Client Facing Technology team to develop core functionalities in our Prime Brokerage client reporting platform. The role is based in our offshore location in Shenzhen China.

Responsibility:

• Your job will allow you to work on both internally utilised and client facing applications. It requires creativity, flexibility and high quality standards working in a global team.  It also involves all phases of the project lifecycle, but will be predominantly focused on development.
• The successful candidate will be a seasoned developer using Microsoft technologies.  They must have a strong focus on technical excellence and be driven to ensure this propagates to all parts of the system, and within the mindset of all members of the team.
• The candidate must have a strong and positive work ethic with a determination to succeed within a challenging environment.

Qualifications:

Essential

• Extensive working experience in C#, .Net platform and N-tier architecture
• Good knowledge on the ASP .NET lifecycle, sessions & cookies, understand the IIS configurations, filters, policies
• Good knowledge of MS Patterns & Practices, MS Application Blocks, NUnit
• Experience in commercial web application development
• Exposure to relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle or Sybase).  Experience in writing stored procedures, triggers, indexes and performance tuning etc.
• Solid understanding of the full development life-cycle
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be versatile and able to multi-task
• Must be able to work with and participate within a large professional team

Desirable

• Experience with MSSQL SSIS development
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
