C++ Software Developer

We are seeking a versatile, highly motivated software developer with ability to work independently in a fast paced financial startup environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Brainstorming, designing, implementing, and rolling out our world-class real time analytical futures trading system.
• Backtesting trading strategies using large volumes of data and interpreting the results.
• Writing code that is performant, secure, maintainable, clear, and concise.

What you need for this Position:

• Strong knowledge of C++, including recent updates to the language. 
• Good knowledge of network programming, and low latency IO.
• Understanding of and experience with multithreaded systems.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in a software development environment, including at least one year of full-time, hands-on application software development.
• Exposure to exchange trading systems (OMS, EMS, etc).
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work in a team and effectively communicate with traders and other developers.

What would be useful:

• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with exchange trading protocols.
• Experience in implementing machine learning techniques, time series analysis, digital signal process, statistics or applied mathematics in a commercial setting.
• Knowledge of kernel hacking, performance tuning, kernel network bypass technologies.
