Leading interior design and production company focus in servicing international luxurious/branded clients for the retail sector – projects focus in Hong Kong and China for branded clients like cosmetic brands, watch brands and fashion brands for their retail shops, image counters, pop up store and all store furniture and fixtures – Hong Kong office 50 staff – China offices in Dongguan and Shanghai with own factory for production – is looking for a SENIOR PROJECT DESIGNER – with details as follows :
- Diploma/Certificate in interior design
- 5 years experience in interior, preferably inclusive of retail, boutique, department store or fixture design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Technical details, Sketch up, 3D Max studio, Photoshop and related computer software
- Able to handle full set of construction drawing with practical detailing experience & site co-ordination
- Good design sense, self-motivated, independent, well-organised with good communication and presentation skills
- Report to the Senior Project Design Manager
- Responsible for managing one of the project teams in the design process and in the production of interior architectural design and construction documents on retail shop interiors
- Manage the project team in conducting construction-phase activities including shop drawing review, requests for information, drawing and document upkeep, project record-keeping
- Coordinate with various consultants on projects
- Manage production process and on site installation
- Ensure on time delivery of projects
- Work with clients in a proactive and professional manner
- Occasional China trips to Dongguan and Shanghai is required
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Project Designer
