RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draw creative new jewelry design concepts and work with existing concepts to create new designs
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with cross-functional business partners to refine design concept, materials, and hardware
• Transform design ideas into products that serve the needs of our customers and create a sustainable and profitable business model for company
• Follow up from initial designs, product developments to pre-production samples
• Prepare quarterly trend book
• Liaise with Sales to understand customers’ needs
• Conduct market / design research and analysis
• Liaise with factory for samples and product development
• Review samples and prototypes to resolve manufacturing and design issues; Develop designs for specific strategic initiatives
• Monitor industry best practices, recommend new design approaches, and identify upcoming trends, new segments, and new businesses opportunities
• Support window display for exhibitions and marketing related design

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Min. 4 years experience in fashion jewelry designs field
• Diploma or Degree in Jewelry Design or related discipline
• Able to design with both hand-sketching and computer software such as Illustrator, Photoshop
• Knowledge of Jewel CAD is an advantage
• Must have a strong sense to keep up with design concepts to the latest jewelry design trend
• Experience in manufacturing or well understand manufacturing procedures a plus
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Willing to work overtime and under intensive pressure
• Creative, hard working, meticulous and a good team player
• Have strong fashion sense
• Self-motivated, proactive and detail-minded, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Multi-tasking, detail-oriented, innovative, organized, pleasant, outgoing personality
