Visual Merchandising Production Manager

My client, a top-tier Italian luxury brand, is hiring a Visual Merchandising Production Manager to join their team.

This role will be reporting directly to HQ in Italy. You will be planning and executing worldwide window installation schedule with regional VM’s for all stores across APAC. You are required to travel to China occasionally to ensure quality of props as well as travelling globally for window display installation. This is important that you have the technical knowledge and understand how to put the design together and coordinating with different parties. Key responsibilities: 

• Review window order booklet and render all network windows for precise window kit ordering for all schemes.
• Plan and execute global window installation schedule with regional VM’s for all stores.
• Develop strong communication and working relationship with local VM project managers and HQ
• Request and compile window photos from each store to review with Regional VM team on quality and execution, send photos and feedback to HQ team after completion of each scheme.
• Collaboration with Visual Merchandising Director on creative visual aspects of special events, store openings and other store initiatives.
• Control, update, monitor and manage VM window budget (finance / region / HQ)
• Evaluate, negotiate and challenge all VM vendor partnerships
• Occasional travel to China during weekend

Candidate requirements:

• At least 5-year experience in production. Candidates without VM experience will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge and skill of AUTOCAD / RHINO,  Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Power Point, Word, Excel
• Very organized, with keen attention-to-detail
• Excellent fluency in English & Mandarin
• Has a sense of urgency and is able to reprioritize efficiently
• Strong technical knowledge in window display production / props production
