Job Description
Design Manager will be responsible for:
- Implementing interiors workplace projects through the management of project teams
- Negotiating for fees and contracts, managing, scheduling, budgeting and staffing for design team, coordinating with sub-consultants, vendors and contractors
- Reviewing project for conformance to contract
- Tracking financial performance of project
- Preparing proposal and contract if necessary
- Communicating with Client and other parties and presenting to client as required
- Handling project documentation and risk management
The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications to be considered:
- 10 years+ of successful project experience in global service corporate interiors
- Hold a Degree in Interior Design is a must
- Extensive knowledge of interior principles/practices especially in Hong Kong and China
- Good leadership capability and can work as a team
- Professional license or certification is required
- Excellent communication skill (both written and spoken) in English and mother tongue in Cantonese and Mandarin
- Strong ability in managing fees, schedules and staffing
- Experience working with marketing developing proposals
- Good business development skills and ability to develop a network
- Able to travel upon request
