The Asia buying office is looking for an ambitious and energetic individual with experience in products such as equipment for the Great Outdoors: barbecue grills/camping tents/sleeping bags/backpacks/storage boxes, to fill the position for Quality Engineer in their Hong Kong office.

This is a wonderful chance for an individual who is passionate about products and enjoys traveling to gain international exposure.

The successful candidate will report to the Technical Manger and is responsible for the following:

• Implementation of quality standards in accordance with company standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems

• Perform evaluation on existing products

• Maintain accurate record and data of findings

• Involved from production process and safety tests to pre-shipment inspection

• Works with factories and third-party labs to troubleshoot any issues

• The candidate will work closely with the technical team to manage inspection and pre-shipment inspection

• Frequent travel to factories across Asia to conduct quality inspection audits

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Control for consumer hardline products

• Knowledge or experience with production of Outdoor equipment

• Expertise in international quality standards for product safety and fit-for-use testing

• Degree qualifications in Engineering/Manufacturing/Quality/Production or equivalent

• Ability to meet tight deadline with superb accuracy

• Strong skills in English to communicate with International stakeholders

• Self-motivated, organized, with a continuous improvement mindset

• Flexibility to travel
