Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the design team to perform aluminum curtain wall designs, cladding, preparation of submission drawing, shop drawing and fabrication drawing
• Be able to manage all design activities as described in the design process
• Work closely with Project Manager of any possible variations or claims arising from changes and deviations from contract documents as far as design, scope, mock ups, testing and approvals are concerned
• Liaise and coordinate with external and internal parties for resolving design matters including design checking, review and submission
• Ensure that drawing submission can fulfill contracts / architects’ requirements
• Responsible for obtaining approval from the consultants and Buildings Department
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned
• Travel to mainland is required

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Building Studies / Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• At least 15 years’ working experience in curtain wall / façade design, with proven track records of aluminum projects
• The candidate should have a solid background and experience in the design of various façade systems
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and 3D drawing skills is a must
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Possess excellent leadership qualities, strong communication and problem solving skills

Candidates with less experience would be considered as Senior Design Engineer or Design Engineer.
