Job functions:

• Manage and be responsible for the operation of the laboratory, ensure the laboratory is operated in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025, GLP and/or other required standards.
• Manage the system and procedures to enhance the professionalism and efficiency of the operations of laboratory.
• To research and develop new testing methods and procedures.
• To verify and approve testing reports and certificates.
• To ensure the laboratory operation and testing are in accordance with the most updated international requirements. 
• To liaise with the audit bodies, responsible for all accreditation process and result of the laboratory.
• Provide technical advices and support to external and internal customers
• Responsible for managing, training and coaching employees. 
• Conduct training and seminar for internal and external customers.
• Other duties assigned by Management

Requirements:

• University graduate, master degree holder preferable in analytical chemistry
• At least seven years experience in sizable commercial 3^rd party laboratory, with minimum of 5 years experience in laboratory management and not less than 3 years in the capacity of laboratory manager
• Qualified signatory person in HKAS or CNAS scheme
• Hands-on experience in operating the analytical instruments, including but not limited to GC-MS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, UV and FTIR
• Specialist experience in toy test and packaging
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent Mandarin is essential
• Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Station at Guang Dong, mainland China
