Position Summary:

Embedded System Developeris responsible for the design and development of embedded applications or kernel drivers. The role will also utilize testing and troubleshooting skills to deliver high quality firmware.

Job Duties:

• Define, design, implement and debug the firmware for cutting edge wireless products.
• Develop test suites, frameworks, and tools to validate features, conformance, and application specific use cases.
• Interact with cross-functional engineering teams across the company.

Requirements:

• Experience programming in C/C++, familiarity with compilers, build and source code control tools.
• Scripting experience with shell script, lua or python.
• System-level integration experience.
• Linux kernel programming experience.
• Understanding of wireless communication software/firmware architecture.
• Experience with wireless communication principles and protocols: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ad.
• Good understanding of SoC architecture, DMA, bus, GPIO etc.
• Embedded software development experience with commercial SOC products.
• Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.
• Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers.
• 1 - 2 years’ experience on firmware programming. Starting salary will be adjusted to the experience offered.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
