Carrefour is seeking for experienced IT professionals to join them as an IT Business Analyst - Business Application at their Asia IT office in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.

Job profile

• Managerial position reporting to IT Application Manager
• Limited travel within Asia (mainly within China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Singapore)
• Involve in all aspects of the system development, change request and support

o   Project planning and coordination with IT partners and business users

o   Analyze business request and translate it into application functional request

o   Review functional specification

o   Write and review functional test cases

o   Manage change request and the subsequent impact to the project timeline and cost

o   Coordinate and execute system integration test and user acceptance test

o   Perform user training

o   Application go-live support

o   Coordinate, prepare and perform handover of the application to the production support team

o   Advanced application functional troubleshooting

o   Review and define functional rules for functional bug correction

o   Report project and performance KPI to management, and put improvement action plans in place

Mandatory experience

• At least 5 years experience as IT business analyst
• Knowledge about supermarket business
• Experience in Supermarket ERP
• Experience in functional specification writing in English
• Experience in business process analysis, documentation and re-engineering

Added advantage

• Experience in IBM Rational (Application Lifecycle Management)
• Experience in test automation
• Experience in dealing with software and IT service delivery vendors outside China
• Development and database administration skill

Other requirements

• Fluent in English and Mandarin is mandatory
• University degree in IT or related field
• Strong analytical skill
• Strong communication and presentation skill in English
• Understanding of business software / ERP functional design
• IT project management skills and understanding of software project lifecycle
• Intermediate Linux administration and scripting skills
• Ability to write PL/SQL query (for troubleshooting and checking test results)
