Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manager - IT Infrastructure will be responsible for operational support, maintenance, and enhancement of the casino’s technology solutions and services including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), application delivery, endpoint and mobile device management solutions, and operating system image development and maintenance.
  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the aforementioned areas and have experience developing operational support procedures and documentation.
  • Candidate must have strong collaboration skills and be able to work effectively with both local and remote resources.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, coworkers, and service providers is essential.
  • Support and maintain at highest levels of availability and performance of the Casino VMware Infrastructure, CISCO UCS and DELL VRTX Servers. Lifecycle management of endpoint assets (desktops, laptops, tablets, thin clients, zero clients, etc.) utilizing current (Dell KACE System) and future tools.
  • Support and maintain endpoint and mobile device management infrastructure and tools. Build and maintain operating system images in compliance with organizational and information security standards using approved tools and methodologies.
  • Create and modify Active Directory GPOs and GPPs to implement uniform settings across users and devices.
  • Manage the casino’s Microsoft Exchange Email server. Administer, maintain and enhance enterprise print solutions.
  • Create and maintain solution and operational support documentation and perform knowledge transfer to IT Helpdesk and other IT support staff.
  • Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques in solving complex problems. Effectively engage vendors in troubleshooting process and root cause analysis.
  • Present to management remediation measures, root cause findings, and mitigation options.
  • Follow established standards, procedures and change management processes. Establish and grow strong collaborative relationships with customers, team members, other IT staff, and vendors.
  • Participate in team oncall rotation for support of critical systems and upgrades after hours.
  • Recommend technology and process enhancements to improve service delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One or two years or more experience in IT infrastructure and/or endpoint management roles.
  • Recent and relevant experience in support of large scale Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solution leveraging VMware technologies.
  • Significant experience in administering Active Directory and utilizing GPOs and GPPs for user and endpoint management.
  • Experience working in mission critical environments requiring highest levels of systems availability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, organization, communication skills.
  • Track record of embracing change and acting as change agent.
  • Ability to telework effectively.
  • Vendor and/or industry certifications and/or demonstrated experience and competency in: VMware, Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and later, Windows OS image development (preferably using Dell KACE), Server virtualization administration of VMware vSphere ESXi hypervisor, Solid understanding and ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP networking including DNS and DHCP services, Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerShell scripting experience is a plus, Microsoft and VMware certification is a plus, App Stacking technologies such as VMware App Volumes experience is a plus, Mac OS experience a plus, Securing operating systems, browsers, devices, and working with PKI a plus.
  • Stationed in Saipan.
