Dynamics of the Role

•  Team Management: Accomplishes DTC IT team staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing region policies and procedures. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Manages vendors. Maintains a safe and positive work environment. Develops personal growth opportunities
• Communication: Collaborates with regional DTC business team and other business teams, regional HK IT team, global business teams, global IT teams to plan and execute projects with efficiency and professionalism. Builds and maintains strong relationship with regional and global stakeholders. Communicates to stakeholders regional business requirements and global vision with efficiency
• IT Implementation and Vision Implementation: Maintains organization's effectiveness by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic IT plans, and leveraging global IT vision and best practices. Makes key architecture decisions to optimize system efficiency and performance. Optimizes testing, deployment, system monitoring/alerting, and disaster recovery and back-up processes. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements
• Project Management: Completes projects by planning and coordinating resources and timetables with the regional project manager and stakeholders to fulfill user requirements and revenue goals. Enforces global project prioritization processes and agile methodology
• Finance Management: Working with regional and global accounting/finance teams, and regional project manager, accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing monthly budget, generating actuals, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action

•  Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong leadership and decision making skills
• Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
• Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with IT projects implementation in Java
• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
