We are now seeking an experienced professonal to join this dedicated team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist(DBA).

The job holder will have to perform the following duties:

-Provide technical consultancy and take part in Performance tuning, database design, architecture, monitoring, data refreshment and project planning
-Control and manage change / release to ensure quality implementation
-Operate and maintain large estate of Oracle environments to ensure security, availability, capacity planning and ever-greening
-Participate in incident / crisis support to provide speedy recovery of service and the subsequent root cause analysis and the implementation of improvement actions
-Implement Oracle database environment according to the project requirement and Oracle service pattern offerings, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery options

Qualifications:

-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or minimum 4 years related discipline
-Solid experience in performance monitoring / tuning at instance and SQL level
-Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle database administration including installation / configuration / maintenance / monitoring / backup & recovery
-in-depth knowledge in Oracle technology such Real Application Cluster, Dataguard, and Grid Control
-Possess multi-DBMS knowledge, especially on SQLServer is an advantage
-Good knowledge in the Unix/Linux environment and monitoring tools
-Good command of both written and spoken English with the ability to also effectively communicate in Cantonese
-A proactive personality with self-motivation. Good analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skill
-Able to work effectively under pressure
