Job Summary:

To analyze, design, develop, coordinate, implement, and support the strategies, initiatives, enhancements and extensions for the legacy and new EDI systems.

Job Responsibilities:

- Participate in the design and review of new applications and develop necessary integration strategies for EDI systems

- Coordinate with application teams as well as work with business partners to understand & map propriety file information to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of EDI systems to meet business demands

- Assist in transitions of EDI systems to next-generation environments and/or cross-functional business systems

- Perform mapping and management for EDI-based transactions and processes

- Perform EDI data audits and implement quality control measures

- Develop and maintain EDI system, process, and training documentation

- Train others on EDI products as needed

- Recommend and execute modifications to EDI systems in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance

Requirements:

-  Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- At least 3 years work experience in IT, including in an EDI role

- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining EDI systems

- Able to conduct research into EDI issues and products as required

- Knowledge of EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc) and translators

- Is a good troubleshooter and problem solver and able to utilize existing resources to solve problems

- Well organized, attend to details and is adaptable to organizational changes and operational needs

- Good communication skills as well as solid customer service skills

- Is a good team player and can work independently
