Responsibilities

• Perform Window/Linux system administration, hardware setup and configuration, performance monitoring and capacity planning
• Provide hands-on level 3 technical support for users and identify root cause to problems
• Maintain track record of reported incidents and provide regular updates to users
• Perform hardware/ networking/ software monitoring, change management and release management
• Work closely with the project team in system rollouts and implementation

Technical Requirements

• For Windows platform: Solid skills in Windows 2003, 2008/R2 & 2012/R2, Active Directory, SCOM, Sharepoint, Exchange & Messaging, Virtualization platform in Microsoft Hyper-V & VMWare, File Sharing and Printing Service
• For Unix/Linux platform: Solid in Unix Solaris and AIX; Linux Oracle, Redhat, SUSE & CentOS, Virtualization technologies in Oracle & RedHat and SAN infrastructure products such as SAN & NAS, Backup products such as Veritas/NetBackup & Virtual Tape Library
• Familiar with Load Balancer, Firewall, Remote Accessing Application e.g. Citrix Server & Windows Terminal Service
• It will be an advantage to have experience in mobile device management, such as blackberry, Android and/or IOS

Qualification Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related discipline
• 4-6 years of solid working experience in Window/Linux administration, implementation, deployment and level 2-3 support
• Candidates who come from a commercial MNC sector, SI or vendor industry will be a plus, but not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
• Able to work independently with good time management
• Candidates will less years of experience will be considered for other potential openings
