Service Manager – BCP/DR Management

v GENERAL PRESENTATION OF THE POSITION

Lead the overall IT Infrastructure Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity activities in compliance with the defined recovery strategy.  Provide and coordinate the disaster preparedness to minimize the impact to business and ensure the continuation of all critical business functions.  

vROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ÿ  Implement, own and coordinate DR and BCP activities and processes for both infrastructure and business to meet the clients Group standards.

Ÿ  Continuous updates and improvements to the DR and BCP processes to meet organization requirements.

Ÿ  Implement and maintain the overall plans for executing DR and BCP Management policies and procedures.

Ÿ  Ensure compliance of the clients DR capabilities with applicable federal and local laws, regulation and ordinance.

Ÿ  Maintain and ensure accuracy of detailed DR and BCP communications and operational plans.

Ÿ  Provide ongoing feedback and recommendation for risk management to ensure business continuity.

Ÿ  Schedule, lead and report on all DR and BCP exercise.  

Ÿ  Act as liaison for internal and external audit activities related to the DR and BCP function.

Ÿ  Report Disaster Recovery activities to the Management.

vREQUIREMENTS

Ÿ  Bachelor Degree or above in Information Technology, Business, Risk Management or any related disciplines

Ÿ  At least 8 years of IT operational experience in supporting web, distributed and database environment.

Ÿ  Relevant working experience on DR and BCM experience in the I.T. industry would be an added advantage

Ÿ  Able to analyze problems, issues and requirements to develop solutions independently.

Ÿ  Excellent communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with senior management in both Asia and overseas offices, internally and externally.

Ÿ  Sound knowledge of operational risk management frameworks / methodologies / policies and/or practices.

Ÿ  ITIL experience will be an added advantage. 

Ÿ  Excellent command in both written and spoken English.
