Our client is a renowned international financial instituion with strong global presence. As their footprint increases in the region as well as globally, they are looking for an experience Python Developer to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting a global trading system.

This role will require the candidate to have strong hands on experience with Python development with experienec working in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with global development teams to develop a cross-product platform for the APAC region using Python
• Provide advice on new business intiatives
• Participate in strategic development globally for other trading platforms

Requirements

• At least 9 years of hands on development experience on Python
• Strong object-oriented concepts and experience in large-scale enterprise development
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database programming
• Good development background on classic OO languages such as Java, C#, C++ etc
• Good understanding of how trading desk works
• Knowledge of multi-threading development
• Experience in distributed computing i.e. parallelization.
• Good problem solving skills, ability to analytically and logically define a problem and steps to find solutions.
• Strong communicator - able to convert business feedback into technology solutions
