Our client is a prime provider of business solutions, telecommunication network services, communication equipment and computer products to government, banking and finance, telecom operators and other commercial sectors. They are urgently seeking qualified candidates with the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Job Responsibilities

• O&M of optical transmission equipment’s for submarine cable system.
• To ensure the E&M facilities in the cable station such as DC & AC Power Systems, UPS, MVAC, fire service system, BMS are in good operating conditions.
• To conduct daily routine inspection on these facilities with the station staffs.
• To resolve the minor issues discovered with the station staffs and to engage suitable vendors to rectify major issues that are beyond technical capability of station team.
• To maintain a proper station inspection checklist and a record of such inspections.
• To coordinate with the vendors on maintenance and repair works.
• To implement preventive maintenance on station E&M facilities.
• To arrange repair or replacement of faulty E&M parts to minimize facilities outage time.
• To attend after office hour’s emergency callout if required.
• To regularly create tools to improve efficiency of station operation (e.g. Excel forms to auto generate station visitor list and database to collect/retrieve station daily activities).
• To submit station monthly report to supervisor.

Job Requirement

• Higher Diploma/Higher Certificate/Degree holder in the field of Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications.
• A minimum of 1-year experience in cable station / data center operation & willing to learn new technology.
• Knowledgeable in optical transmission system SDH, DWDM.
• Experience in DC & AC Power Systems, UPS, MVAC, fire service system, & BMS would be an advantage.
• Knowledge in Windows/Unix operations environment is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willing to attend after office hours’ call.
• Hardworking and self-motivated
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good command in written & spoken English and Chinese.
