Job Description

• Lead and supervise for the team of Cargo planning, irregular shipments, cargo claims and ensure daily operations in close coordination with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Ensure compliance to local and corporate import/export regulations.
• Monitor the lead time of goods transferred to delivery teams and to customers.
• Monitor the teams to control and reconcile all documents of delivery activities such as invoices, signed DO, remittance records, etc.
• Development and improvement efforts of department policies and procedures with management.
• Implement and enforce the current delivery policy, procedures and SOP.
• Assign tasks and workload to regional team members to ensure optimal utilization of resources and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and work with team members and other departments to resolve.
• Assist in identifying needs for new training, tools and documentation for region.
• Assist with projects and special reporting when needed.
• Generate monthly reporting of airfreight department performance and result
• Maintain close and regular communication with customers to ensure their concerns and issues are handled quickly.
• Oversee the security and maintenance of asset.

Requirement

• Minimum 8 years relevant experience
• At least 3 years of managerial experience
• Well experience to work closely with co-loaders/airlines for managing air consolidation, price negotiation, space reservation.
• Familiar with worldwide markets
• Strong in problem solving skills, self-motivated and with team spirit
• Good in customer services support
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English & Cantonese
• Well versed in computer applications
• Immediate available preferred
