As Director of Operations & Development, you will operate under the policy direction of the CEO and management board, and work with the CEO and CFO in the overall management and development of the business.

The job is a mix of high-level strategic work (including financial management and attending board meetings) and ambassadorial duties, combined with overseeing and supporting a large and complex matrix of relationships between the tutors, student, staff, management. 

The Director of Operations & Development has the authority to specify actions required and to detail how the school will operate. 

Skills and responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills with ability to establish a rapport and communicate effectively with stakeholders – at all levels and from all sectors
• Proven ability to motivate and manage other people
• Capacity to work under pressure to cope with multiple demands and deadlines, to work fast and to a consistently high standard
• To facilitate the expansion plans of the management board
• Plenty of initiative and a successful track record encompassing all-round administrative experience
• Experience in accounting and finance is very helpful
• Direct experience in this specific sector is a big PLUS
• Highly motivated and hard-working
• Passionate about Education
• Good team player
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Be able to write fluently, to think clearly and to grasp new concepts quickly
• A willingness to occasionally work demanding hours when required
