Job Duties:

• Develop and handle knitwear fashion for all Japanese business (currently our biggest and most important client worldwide famous brand. The trading company we work with is world class business partner)
• Main focus: to develop world famous Japanese business
• To explore Japanese market and identify customer requirements to deliver volume & revenue targets
• Responsible for managing and supervising the team to deliver the merchandising activities for production
• To establish and maintain close relationships with new and existing customers
• Provide inputs for top management on long term strategic development
• To predict the business order and develop a production allocation plan for the year
• Closely communicate with clients for handling the activities related to production
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management 

Job Requirements:

• Over 10 years work experience in the apparel industry; specialised knowledge in knitwear is a plus
• Past 5 years in Japanese fashion market, in a client-facing role
• Demonstrates excellent ability in driving top-line growth
• Demonstrates strong relationships and experience in the Japanese fashion market
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and ability to work with different cultures
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Fluent in Japanese
• Fluent/conversational in either Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) or English
• Flexible with travelling
