Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General Manager (GM) to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and projects. You will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.

The goal of the GM position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate the business plan and execute the operational strategies to maximize business growth and company image;
  • Undertake market and business analysis to understand the competitive landscape;
  • Direct the development and implementation of operating procedures and controls, to enhance communication and information flow, and thereby solidify management control and direction of the organization;
  • Oversee project operations, with regular evaluation of performance to ensure delivery of financial and profitability targets;
  • Deliver brand engagement strategies through effective advertising, promotion and marketing campaigns for client;
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations and laws governing business operations;
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth;
  • Oversee daily operations and keep the CEO apprised of significant events;
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics;
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.).

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business Administration or relevant field;MSc/MBA is a plus;
  • +8 years of working experience in Entertainment and Media industry; at least 5 years of operation management experience in between;
  • Proven track record of enhancing the business performance and operational efficiency;
  • Excellent business acumen, ability to convert the business strategy to operational implementation;
  • Strong organization skill to develop and execute the operational plans aligned to the business strategies;
  • Highly proficient numerical and analytical skills;
  • Working knowledge of project and marketing management;
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving;
  • Excellent communication skill to convey the operational performance targets and evaluation indicators to all levels and functions within the group;
  • High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
  • Proactive, flexible, detail-minded and able to work under a fast-paced working environment;
  • Self-motivated, high sense of responsibility and personal integrity;
  • Immediately available is highly preferred.
