Overall Responsibilities:

• Ensure all products comply with International / National requirements according to the relevant IEC/EN/UL Audio/Video & IT standards
• Potential Safety Incidence: Analyse, drive team to have CAPA for potential or real safety incidences. Resolve non-compliance concern with authorities or other key stakeholders   

Key Performance Indicators :

• Approbation for all countries on time
• Response and resolve safety incidences for all products launched globally
• Update standards and regulation according to latest market requirement

Job Duties:

• Feasibility study during development stage for S&C requirement and risk prediction and prevention
• Manage project team and suppliers deliverable to ensure product have compliance and approbation on time
• Build up and maintain safety & compliance requirement database for project team and business for reference
• Leading investigation team In case of products non-compliant or having any safety incidence. To provide analysis and corrective actions in timely manner
• Coach suppliers and internal teams for all Safety and Compliance related practice and knowledge

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Bachelor degree in electronics, mechanical, or equivalent engineering degree.   With ISO, six-sigma is an advantage
• More than 5 years solid safety and compliance experience in certify bodies, product development, or sourcing office in Consumer Electronics industry sourcing office. Experience to manage OEM/ODM and coach them for both technical and approbation process
• Knowledgeable in Audio/Video & IT safety standards
• Project Management and supplier management
• Electrical knowledge in Power supply, EMC, and heat
• Knowledgeable in product quality control and factory process is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Can use English as a working language.
