Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the creation of accurate production plans to Vendors and Mills effectively
  • Lead collaboration with APAC Vendors and Mills for capacity and materials planning requirements
  • Create supply plans using supply planning software
  • Support and facilitate a collaborative planning process between the supply chain team and the vendors/mills
  • Integrate Asian Vendors with Italian Mills for faster delivery and reduced cost
  • Manage efforts to achieve a consensus on the APAC supply plan during the S&OP process including integration with downstream process such us APAC inventory and demand plan
  • Communicate with APAC Markets issues related to production such as late deliveries and shortages
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to supply planning results and processes
  • Set up right inventory policies and targets for fabrics and garments at vendors and mills using appropriate safety stocks
  • Manage the PO issuance and collaboration process with Vendors
  • Create/Manage a strong Make-to-Measure (MTM) business for APAC markets based on Asian Vendors and Mills
  • Participate in LEAN initiatives focused on improving manufacturing efficiencies.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in creating supply and production plans including rough cut capacity, master production schedules for both Vendors and Mills
  • APAC supply chain experience including apparel and accessories
  • Experience of developing and supporting supply planning solutions, data management, and reports
  • Demand/Supply matching modeling, analysis and reporting experience
  • Experience improving processes and providing system automation recommendations and strategies to manage solutions and data efficiently
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems in fashion industry is a plus
  • Experience with Excel and Access and ability to create ad-hoc reports and analytics thru data mining
