Job Description

The Position:

The Head of Branding Strategy position requires a unique blend of creative thinking, written and visual communication, strategic analysis and problem solving that will together ensure the clarity of our messaging, consistency of our visual identity and effectiveness of our content. As a relatively new brand, IvySpace presents an exciting opportunity to both play a crucial role in the development of our communications strategy and see how marketing can tangibly drive the overall growth of a business.

A position at IvySpace offers the opportunity to experience working at one of Hong Kong’s most dynamic and fastest-growing startups. Within a year the team has grown from 2 to 30+ with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Europe, Cape Town, and the U.S.

The Head of Branding Strategy will be based out of our headquarters in Hong Kong with potential opportunities for travel. The role’s key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement overarching brand strategies for the Company
  • Articulate value propositions for customers and business partners
  • Manage external communications, media and public relations
  • Initiate and implement Company level marketing plans and campaigns
  • Support international business development and prepare marketing / presentation materials
  • Monitor and support in-country marketing campaigns and approve budgets and KPIs.
  • Measure effectiveness of campaigns and integrate learnings into larger strategy
  • Manage website and App designs. Apply design and copywriting skills to produce content for various online and offline channels (web, social, print, etc.), including images and videos
  • Develop and maintain a consistent “look and feel” in design and copy
  • Conduct competitive research and translate insights into actionable strategies

 

 Your Profile: 

  • 4-12 years of experience in marketing and branding
  • Online marketing experience
  • Prior experience working with start-ups and new brands strongly preferred
  • Prior agency or education industry experience
  • A strong communicator and team player
  • Able to take direct ownership projects and bring them to completion
  • Possess proven design skills (Adobe CS and video editing software) and experience working across a range of channels, including WeChat and Weibo
  • High proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • Work authorization for Hong Kong

 

 The Opportunity:

  • HKD 25,000 – 35,000 monthly salary, commensurate with experience
  • Basic Health Insurance Coverage
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus
