Job Title :   CAD Operator

Reports to: Shoes Construction Technician

Key Responsibilities: 

• Receives sketches with specs and project drawings from Project Managers for making detailed drawings using CAD software and perspective views (color rendering) using Crispin, Adobe CS3 Photoshop and/or Rhinoceros/Flamingo software;
• Provides top, front, side and rear drawing views with specific dimensions, type of materials used and construction using AutoCAD;
• Make blow-up details and cross-sectioning on parts that needs emphasis;
• Makes recommendations on construction and other technical aspects;
• Forwards finished drawings to the supervisor for review and approval;
• Makes color rendering on approved CAD drawings;
• Submits CAD drawings and color rendering to the Supervisor and General Manager for final review and approval;
• Forwards approved CAD drawings and color rendering to Documentation section for Portable Document Format (PDF);
• Makes revisions on drawings returned by the customer for some specific changes and corrections;
• Makes value engineering suggestions to reduce product cost when required.
• Coordinates with Project Manager and Shoes Technician Construction on matters pertaining to CAD drawings and perspectives.
• Produce technically drawings and documentation

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years working experience in Footwear industry
• At least 2 years’ experience and in-depth knowledge in operating CAD system
• Hands-on experience and skills in working with footwear designer and developer
• Currently work or experienced on  3D Crispin program would be an advantage
• Passionate, team-player, excellent communication skills
• Great sense of responsibility, can work under pressure and tight deadlines

Work Location: Dongguan, Guangdong, China and occasional travel to other cities in China
