The incumbent works closely across functional teams in providing sourcing solution according to Corporate strategy, develops seasonal items from trend guide products and manages supplier on production schedule.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

• Response to maximize Synergy saving by negotiation of the best optimum cost with suppliers to enhance profit margin
• Support sourcing team to manage key stakeholders throughout the process to deliver Corporate results: Synergy Benefits, Margin Improvement, on time delivery, first time inspection rate, LEAN savings, and Lead time reduction
• Manage and monitor suppliers the end-to-end supply chain activities, including artwork, sample, production, on-time delivery 
• Maintain data accuracy in the system/record
• Follow up production schedule and ensure vendors meet agreed deadlines
• Generate and prepare project updates by ongoing documentation maintenance

Key Position Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of solid experience in Seasonal categories (Halloween is an advantage), sizeable buying office experience would be preferred, experience in manufacturing environment would be an advantage
• Familiar with the US retail market, regulatory requirements and sound product knowledge
• Demonstrate relevant category expertise on material and costing
• Proven experience to be able to work with overseas stakeholders
• Good team players with ability to work with associates from local team and overseas team
• Strong connection with supplier base
• Able to handle multi-tasks and possess a high level of initiative and integrity under a dynamic and competitive environment
• Meticulous and good interpersonal skill 
• Able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
• Team player and self-starter, with strong sense of ownership
• Strong MS Office skills, good command of English and Putonghua
• Frequent travel may be required
