Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the team head & take an active role in assisting with the daily merchandising duties from sampling to bulk shipment
• Responsible for ensuring all development processes from materials & trim sourcing, proto to salesmen samples are completed under the tight deadlines
• Responsible for costing, price and lead time negotiation with supplier
• Identity potential issues before submitting samples to customers
• Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance & Quality Control team to ensure the product quality is up to the required standard and obtain inspection report
• Follow up closely on production schedule and ensure timely delivery
• Act as the bridge between European buyers and factories and fabric mills in China, Bangladesh and other emerging markets

 Requirements:

• Degree or high diploma graduate in Merchandising, fashion, textile or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Woven Outerwear items preferably in buying/sourcing office
• Good communication skill, initiative, well-organized and attentive to details
• Experience working with European markets and have off-shore exposure especially in China, Bangladesh and other Far East countries
• Energetic and able to work independently
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook Express
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin)
