Job Description

The Sales Manager will be a senior member of the Hong Kong office and will develop logistics consulting projects until contract signing.

This position will act as the sales business leader developing new consulting business for the company. Your role will also be hands on in liaising potential projects and working with accounts in project integrations. You will drive new business development and identify new opportunities within the market for the company.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' of experience within the logistics engineering, supply chain management, automation or e-commerce industry. It is essential that you have strong sales management and people management experience. It is necessary to have a successful track record on leadership and business growth. Previous track record in developing business of similar nature is ideal. Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese is a must.

Responsibilities

• Achieve growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the situation.
• Design and implement strategic business plan that expands customer base.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Present sales revenue, expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Management.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new services and competition status.
• Assist the Department Management in recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of department colleagues

Requirements

• Bachelor/ Master’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a logistics- related field.
• Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Strong business sense and industry expertise.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
