The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

• Develop and maintain a proper and systemic filing system for the department
• Draft simple legal documents and letters
• Prepare transaction bibles
• Perform office administrative duties and provide general secretarial support to the department
• Handle general requests independently on behalf of managers
• Schedule meetings, take initiative to re-schedule appointment and prepare appropriate meeting materials
• Handle travel arrangement and prepare itineraries
• Follow-up and coordinate ad hoc assignments and departmental projects

The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

• Diploma in Legal Studies or related discipline
• At least 3 years secretarial experience, working experience in law firm or in-house legal department are advantages
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• With strong sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize tasks
