Job Description
Our Client, is the World's largest Metal and Electronics Recycler. They are the Global leader in sustained management of resources and are looking for a 'Shipping Clerk/Officer' for their team in Hong Kong.
JOB ROLE:
Lead and manage a shipping team and perform all shipping functions and ad-hoc projects
- handling global shipments
- Management and Admin reporting
- Input data to OZDOC to set-up Master Document
- pro-forma issue if needed
- associate buyer for deposit payment or Letter of credit issuance
- Co-ordinate regions for schedule shipment and documents preparation
- LC terms check and amendment request if needed
- Switch BL
- Check balance TT payment
- Handling full sets of I/E shipping documents
- Liaison with overseas offices and suppliers
- Handle ad hoc assignments
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- F.7 or above with minimum 7 years relevant shipping experience
- Smart, Sound experience in worldwide customs procedures
- Experience in trading/buying office and familiar with worldwide customs
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, independent, a problem solver and team player.
- Good supervisory and management skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
