Job

The incumbent will be responsible for setting up a Locum Office and to facilitate flexible employment in the Hospital Authority. Duties include:

1. Promulgate the concept and benefits of flexible employment.
2. Consolidate the needs of various stakeholders and propose feasible solutions.
3. Monitor vacancies and budget for recruitment of casual workers.
4. Review prevailing HR policies and enhance recruitment tools.
5. Coordinate central recruitment exercises.
6. Coordinate training, credentialing and performance related arrangements and central staff record management.
7. Manage the payroll system for casual workers and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
8. Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

1. A university degree or equivalent.
2. At least 4 years of post-qualification working experience in human resources management of which at least 2 years at managerial level (i.e. Hospital Administrator II / Executive Officer II or equivalent level).

Preferred Attributes / Exposure

1. Hands-on experience in recruitment of casual workers, preferably in healthcare related industries.
2. Formal education in human resources management or related discipline.
3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.

Remarks

1. Employment will be on temporary terms up to 31 March 2018.
2. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
