A European retailer specializing in household products, consumer electronics and seasonal products is seeking a Quality Engineer to support its expanding sourcing business in Asia. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain international exposure and play a part in contributing to a developing team.

The eligible candidate should have experience in European retail and an expertise in Seasonal Items. Their responsibilities will include:

• Effectively manage product quality performance

• Perform quality checking on product and packaging

• Provide assistance to sourcing department by monitoring and driving the improvement of quality of samples at all stages of product development

• Ensure product compliance with the bill of specifications and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with the sourcing department on quality development projects

• Participate in after-sales service and take corrective and proactive action to answer client / store feedback

• Ensure that all products within relevant area are safe, legal and comply with the company safety, quality, integrity & legal policies

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines

• 3+ years’ relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Control

• Familiar within European legislation and requirements

• Possess strong technical expertise in Electronic/Lighting (Seasonal items)

• Good command in English and mandarin

• Required to travel occasionally
