Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sourcing projects through the gathering business information, conducting strategic sourcing analysis, making recommendations to strategic source plans and reviews; preparing and completing supplier scouting action plans; implementing scouting activity, conducting price and sampling exercise, presenting findings to top management, seeking approval of sourcing change, following through the vendor setting up and completion of new seasonal development. 
• Assist in the development and management of long term and short term sourcing strategies, planning and process to support the business growth.
• Drive strategic sourcing projects. Identify supplier opportunity. Source and bring in suppliers that fulfill the business need of price, quality, delivery and social compliance requirement. Oversee new supplier on boarding and training. 
• Conduct strategic analysis of price, lead time, capacity, quality and MOQ of potential supplier and provide sourcing management with strategic sourcing information and report for decision making.
• Maintain potential supplier data base.
• Collect, analyze and report commodity price, minimum wage and exchange rate periodically.
• Report financial impact on product cost.
• Manage and maintain supplier scorecard and supplier matrix.
• Complete ad hoc projects when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree holder in Textile & Clothing and MBA preferable
• Minimum 10 years similar experience in high end apparel industry
• Strong apparel and fabric sourcing network
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, fluent in English & Mandarin
• Strategic thinking and result orientation
• Strong planning & organizing skills
• Pro-active approach and thinking outside of the box
• Solid project management experience
