This highly respected MNC in the industry of specialty materials is hiring for a talent to join their Sourcing team covering the APAC business.

Being part of the Operations and Supply Chain Organization, and responsible for the regional support of Procurement requirements in APAC, this role will not only identify opportunities to leverage Cost of Goods improvement aligned with the global strategies, but will also identify regional opportunities. Work with sites to identify and deploy best practice across the region as it relates to supplier management and negotiation.

Current business objectives will be conducting Outsourcing projects and Indirect Services procurement. By leading a team of 12, you have to identify outsourcing opportunities to drive for cost saving plannings. In addition, you will be responsible for all kinds of Indirect Services procurement, dealing with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms. Monitoring Procurement Manager at Manufacturing sites is also needed by partnering with Global Procurement Managers.

To be qualified for this opportunity, you need to have the following competencies and experience:

• Minimum 8 years related experience
• Experience in Multi-national companies is definitely an advantage
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• Strong leadership capabilities
