Responsibilities

• To act as the middle person between customer and supplier for delivery of highest standard of service.
• Responsible for the coordination of daily merchandising activities in product development, costing, and mass production follow up.
• To research & analyze product trends by keeping abreast of the latest offerings from the market and coordinating with vendors, to increase customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• To assist in presenting new season collection by supporting the customer meetings and promotional events,
• Good sense of pricing, production time & action calendar, and technical knowledge, able to handle and troubleshoot production problems with vendors, and present alternative/solution to customer.
• Monitor order tracking to meet the quality and delivery date requirement in order to reach corporate KPI target.
• Strong sense of initiative and responsibility, able to work independently with customers, vendors and all levels of internal offices.
• To help win business, the job holder has to ensure sufficient preparation is done for the team before meeting with customer in the buying season.
• Able to work under a demanding environment.
• To source and select the suitable suppliers from existing supplier list and from the market.

Requirement, Skills & Experience

• Form 7 graduate, diploma holder or above in Merchandiser , or Textile & Clothing
• Good background and knowledge of Materials Sourcing & Development, Garment Construction and Sample Development
• Sound fashion sense and good understanding of textile quality
• 3 years garment merchandising experience in woven, denim and flat-knit is preferable.
• Strong sense of initiative and analytical skill.
• Good time management
• Effective spoken and written communication skill in English and Chinese
• Proficient in Putonghua
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Sales-driven orientation
