Job Description

The person should maintain and follow up operational procedures in order to reach the highest customers service standard and become a true Account expert and contribute to the company and vertical development through best practice sharing. The incumbent is also responsible to build the consideration of DAMCO as a Key Strategic Partner for the client through the achievement of constant communication, operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business in all operational issues and control the account development, mainly on the operational side of the business. Support the delivery of account plan.
  • Owns the operational relationship with customer stakeholders and owns the execution in the regional operational teams serving the customer, in order to deliver our promises to customer.
  • Ensure all SOPs/Contracts are adhered to and any fall-outs are addressed on priority.
  • Produce monthly Operational Dashboard, covering existing operations, showing KPI & SOP compliance ratios and identifying operations improvement areas and proposing possible courses of action.
  • Maintain, develop and manage close working relationship with customer stakeholders. Responsible for regular checkup calls and business performance review with clients main stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the different operational teams involved across the DAMCO organization and achieve a smooth development of the operations.
  • Become the true operational expert on the account assigned and drive best practice sharing across countries.
  • Responsible for implementation of customer projects and additional business award.
  • Participate in strategizing and execution of new operations along with businesses.
  • Maintain record and trace-ability of the agreements reached for the easy follow up.
  • Identify potential business development opportunities through the improvement of operations and procurement.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years relevant experience in warehousing and distribution (WND) with a proven track record in customer/operational management.
  • Excellent English in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills.
  • Proactive approach towards a continuous improvement philosophy.
  • Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results through others.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate with different parties across functions and regions.
  • Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify activities.
  • Problem solving skills and customer service skills.
  • Consistent ability to meet and adhere to deadlines.
