Our client is a reputable and fast growing company. With more than 50 staff in the supply chain team based in Hong Kong, they are now expanding their team further to cope with the business growth.

Responsibilities: 

• Report to Director, Logistics and lead a team of 6 to drive the business

• Define the origin operating policies and logistics strategies for FOB and domestic shipments in the most cost effective ways

• Conducting RFPs for local transportation companies and warehouses

• Build a strong connections in the industry to understand the global ocean, air freight and courier markets

• Manage regional 3PLs, factories, vendors and counterparts in headquarter

• Manage SAP system to generate reports 

• Monitor FOB monthly forecast

• Drive for continuous process improvement and KPI enhancement to support the expanding business requirements

• Lead, participate and provide support to various logistics projects regionally to support the company’s supply chain initiatives

• Apply best practices in root cause analysis and correctives actions

Requirements:

• University graduate in Logistics or Supply Chain management

• Minimum 10 years' related operational consumer goods/ FMCG industry, with minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory role

• Good connection with forwarders & carriers

• Possess high degree of management, delegation, leadership and organizational skills

• Self-motivated, responsible, independent and possess good interpersonal skill and presentation skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) & SAP R/3
