Position Description

JMATEK has been a major player in the Evaporative Air Cooler market worldwide. The company has exclusive designs and models which are marketed worldwide under the Honeywell Brand. To keep pace with its innovation and growth the company requires an Accountant.

Major responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts, month-end closing and prepare group consolidation reports and elimination.
• Assist in preparing financial analysis, monthly reports and tax computation
• Prepare audit management accounts and audit schedule, liaison with auditors
• Oversee the work of the accounts assistant
• Assist in system implementation and enhancement
• Assist in ad-hoc projects
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma holder in Accountancy
• Student member of HKICPA/ACCA or other professional accounting bodies
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience with audit experience will be of definite advantage
• Good proficiency in MS office, especially in Excel
• Knowledge in Microsoft NAV and FLEX accounting system is preferred
• Good command of both written and spoken in English, Cantonese & Mandarin
• Accountable & high sense of responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure and produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
