Job Description

Key Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

Management & Financial:

  • Develop project plans and critical paths for each event, with clear financial and operational milestones highlighted
  • Required to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Overall project management for exhibitions, auctions, and company activities
  • Manage exhibition budgets and coordinate exhibition details with internal and external parties

Event Operation & Logistic:

  • Responsible for all logistic matters relating to Exhibitions and Events
  • Carry out contract negotiations and contract reviews to ensure accurate capture of business and risk management requirements
  • Develop task scheduling and closely monitor work progress and catalogue production timeline for each auction
  • Work closely with the design team, copy-writing team and various suppliers
  • Manage event schedules and onsite supervision

Advertising & Promotion:

  • Develop brand awareness and execute brand building
  • Develop and propose effective Advertising and Marketing Strategies concerning all business projects
  • Create marketing plan and business plan as appropriate
  • Oversees E-marketing team for digital marketing promotion and website development
  • Perform other duties as requested

 

Required Skills:

  • Degree holder in Marketing/ Media/ Communications/ Event Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in an Event Operations role
  • Strong project management skills are a key requirement, including the preparation of project plans, and the ability to plan a number of events/activities simultaneously.
  • Budget/P&L management experience, contract negotiation and supplier management experience
  • Good interpersonal skills, flexibility to take on and assist in team members projects during periods of pressure
  • Must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines independently
  • Decision making skills, especially for on‐site execution
  • Superior verbal, written presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, customers, vendors across international boundaries.
  • Knowledge of professional auction house practices
  • Verbal and written fluency in English, Cantonese and Chinese Mandarin is a must, other foreign language is a plus
  • Must be willing to perform ad hoc duties in the run up to and during auction periods
  • Immediate available or short notice is preferred

 

Working Hours: 

  • Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm 

  

Working Location: 

  • Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

 

We offer 5 days work, 13 month salary, Discretionary bonus, Medical Benefit, Banking Holiday with attractive package to the right candidates.
