Responsibilities:

• Web and Backend Developer for new E-Commerce business team to align with company goals, business expansion and opportunities
• Build and develop new B2C e-commerce online shops/ websites from scratch
• Experience in different phases of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and applies to work
• Perform interface design, programming, UAT tests and reviews, documentations etc
• Optimize and automate/ enhance the existing processes and flows for smooth, effective & efficient operations/ enhancements
• Follow API development/ integration for Various Online E-Commerce Channels (including but not limited to Amazon, eBay, Lazada, Rakuten, Taobao/Tmall etc), Shipping Carriers and Payment Gateways etc
• Various in-house backend system integration, development and maintenance
• Integrate E-Commerce multi-channels’ data from various back-end services (e.g. Microsoft ERP System, Content Management System etc) for reporting and analysis
• Daily/ Regular IT tasks, reporting and follow-up
• Assist any ad hoc work and projects assigned

Requirements:

• Degree or above in E-Commerce, Information Technology, Computer or System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• 3 years’ solid experience in application development with RESTful, SOAP, C#, C#.Net, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XML, CSS, HTML, MySQL, MSSQL and Oracle DB
• 2 years’ experience in E-commerce/ Internet/ Marketing/ Global Business/ Health & Beauty, or shipping & logistics field
• Hands on experience in IT/ system development for Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS), eBay, Lazada, Linio, Rakuten etc would be a big advantage
• 1 year or above hands on experience in ERP programming development is a plus
• Fresh Graduate or candidates with less experience/ qualifications will be considered as Web Programmer
• Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle / Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge in Business Processes such as Sales, Purchasing & Inventory is an advantage
• Positive “can-do” attitude, proactive, independent, self-motivated, result-oriented and able to work with challenges and continually keeps up to date with new technologies and adapt to fast changes
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good documentation and presentation skills
• Good communication skills and able to deal with internal and external parties (different function units)
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Proficiency in one or more foreign language(s) esp. German/ Spanish/ Japanese/ Korean would be an advantage
• Good team player, able to handle multi-tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure
