Our department is mainly making decoration for shops as well as POS items. Our main products are a different various of wood and metal as well as plastic and acrylic.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Order, Price, Sourcing and Quality Control
• Follow up inquiries from Head Office,  preparation of quote sheet, sample development and proceed necessary testing upon the sample getting approval
• Prepare PO, routine report and follow up order until delivery on time
• Prepare inspection specification for suppliers to follow on production
• Monitor production, quality control and delivery schedule with suppliers and update to head office offices closely
• Conduct QC inspection in factories
• Ensure the products to meet right price, right quality in right time.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive price
• Explore more new suppliers base and factory evaluation.
• Liaise & problems shooting with suppliers
• Cooperation with Various Parties
• To act a middleman to communicate between brand co-ordinator and the suppliers.
• Develop and maintain good relationship with suppliers for long term business cooperation
• Participate regular meetings with teammates and information sharing in order to work for best practice and strategy

 Requirements

• Diploma or University graduate in Purchasing or Business discipline 
• 5-10  years merchandising experience focus on Window Display, metal, wood, acrylic, bags, paper  and sundries products.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and good team player.
• Possess strong negotiation skills externally with suppliers
• Strong sourcing base and sound product knowledge
• Data consolidation and analysis, handling multi-tasks and good problem solving skills
• Good understanding of business processes in general, purchasing and logistic process in details
• Familiar with the updated testing standard for EU and US
• Energetic, detail-minded, well organized to develop good relationship with both head office and suppliers
• Capable to monitor vendors performance and source vendors for new items
• Self-motivated, independent, proactively and aggressive to achieve business objectives
• Proficiency in spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Travel to PRC for production control and inspection occasionally
