Job Description
Role Purpose:
CI Business Partner reports to the Vice President of CI and driving the CI programme in the defined area, the CI Business Partner will work with the local leadership teams at various levels as well as being part of the Global CI team, to establish CI targets, support the delivery of Lean Six Sigma training & projects as well as increasing the CI understanding, skill set & desired CI behaviors within the area of scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Hub / Functional Executive & Leadership teams to set CI targets aligned to the strategic priorities and goal
- Recommend application of appropriate Lean Six Sigma or alternative CI methodologies (eg/ Agile, Prince etc) to achieve these objectives
- Drive functional / Hub teams to create and implement plans to achieve objectives, on time & in full (OTIF)
- Identify, lead delivery of strategic CI (Lean Six Sigma) projects to achieve financial targets, by using LEAN Six Sigma and Process Improvement methodologies, tools and techniques and appropriate project management & change management concepts
- Identify candidates for the CI program, i.e. Yellow Belt, Green or Black Belt & deliver training, coach and certify to the ECM CI global standards
- Provide leadership that inspires all levels of colleagues to drive continuous improvement in their areas and to sustain gains and results achieved during the projects. Support leadership teams in embedding CI as ‘the way of working‘
- Ensure projects and benefits are tracked and reported in accordance with the Global CI standards, accurately and on time. Enable results to be measured & sustained in all functions/locations, support ad hoc audits & report out on results. Ensure corrective actions are put in place to deliver continuous results
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, business discipline is preferred
- A recognized certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, minimum
- A minimum of 5 years CI experience of project leadership & successful on time delivery, in full across matrix / cross functional &/or multi territory global organizations
- Experience of training & coaching Green Belts
- Demonstrates a passion & enthusiasm for Lean Six Sigma / CI
- Strong ability to engage others in CI at all levels of the organization
- Experience of partnering Senior Management teams in deployment of Lean Six Sigma
